Please review the important information below about our shipping procedures.

US export regulations require all shipments from our online store to be sent to United States customers only.

We make every attempt to ship your order of in-stock items within 3 - 5 business days.

We ship orders Monday - Thursday, excluding holidays when 501 Tactical or UPS are closed.

Out-of-stock items will be shipped upon their return to stock.

Please expect shipping delays during high-volume shopping periods.

You will receive tracking information once the order has been prepared for shipment.

Please note that the majority of states now require tax to be collected on all parts of orders, including the shipping charges.

All ammunition is considered hazardous and will be shipped Ground in the contiguous 48 states only to a verified street address. Other state restrictions may limit your ability to purchase ammunition. All items in an order containing ammunition will be shipped Ground.

Many local and state restrictions exist that will limit your ability to purchase ammunition, firearms, firearms parts, magazines, and other items that 501 Tactical sells.

Express shipping methods (Next Day, Second Day) cannot be used for PO Box destinations.

All orders going to a PO Box will ship Ground Economy (Smart Post).

Bullets (not loaded ammunition) cannot be shipped using a Next Day shipping method.

Steel targets and cardboard targets can only ship Ground. Orders for these products will not be shipped to PO Box destinations. All items in an order containing targets will be shipped Ground.
Shipping of Restricted Items: Magazines
It is essential to be aware of and understand all laws applicable to your location. 501 Tactical is committed to complying with all current laws that prevent the sale and shipment of magazines to areas where they are legally prohibited.
NOTE: 'For firearms purchased online, we will automatically substitute any magazines that do not comply with your state's regulations with compliant ones for all firearm shipments to your Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
NOTE: Certain firearms may lack magazines that comply with state regulations, rendering them unavailable for shipment to states with restrictive firearm laws.
NOTE: 'Individuals in Law Enforcement, the Military, Government positions, or those who are Federal Firearms License holders and possess the necessary documentation, are requested to place their orders for magazines via phone if such items are restricted in their state.
501 Tactical applies the following rules to the shipment of magazines.

California: No pistol or rifle magazines greater than 10 rounds. [Cal. Penal Code § 16350]

Colorado: No pistol or rifle magazines greater than 15 rounds. [Colo. Rev. Stat. §§ 18-12-301]

Boulder: No pistol or rifle magazines greater than 10 rounds. [Boulder Municipal Code Chapter 8]

Connecticut: No pistol or rifle magazines greater than 10 rounds. [Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 53-202w]

You must have either a pistol permit, an eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver, or an eligibility certificate for a long gun to purchase legal magazines. This is the customer's responsibility. [DESPP requirements]

Shipping of Restricted Items: Ammunition
It is essential that you are fully aware of all laws applicable to your area. 501 Tactical will make every effort to comply with all existing laws that prevent the sale and shipment of ammunition to locations where it is known to be illegal.
501 Tactical applies the following rules to the shipment of ammunition.

All states: Orders containing ammunition can only be shipped Ground. This will apply to the entire order, for all items in the order.

Alaska: No sales of ammunition.

California: [2/5/2024] Must be shipped to a current and valid FFL. Orders received that are not shipped to a current and valid FFL address will be automatically canceled. Ammunition vendor licenses issued by the state of California are not an acceptable alternative.

Shipping of Restricted Items: Handguns
It is imperative that you are fully aware of all laws applicable to your area. 501 Tactical is committed to complying with all prevailing laws related to the prevention of sales and the shipment of restricted products to regions where they are known to be prohibited by law.
Handguns destined for any of the aforementioned states with magazine capacity limits will have their standard higher capacity magazines exchanged for magazines that comply with state regulations. Certain firearms may lack state-compliant magazines, rendering them ineligible for shipment to states with restrictive laws.

Shipping of Restricted Items: AR pattern rifles, AR pattern pistols and AR lower receivers
It is essential to be fully aware of all laws applicable to your locality. 501 Tactical is committed to compliance with all prevailing legal regulations concerning the prevention of sales and the distribution of restricted products to areas where they are known to be prohibited by law.
Certain states have specific restrictions on the sale and transfer of AR lower receivers, as detailed below. 501 Tactical will limit the sale and shipment of AR lower receivers in any state where AR pattern rifles are regulated, irrespective of whether there are explicit restrictions on AR lower receivers in that state.
AR pattern rifles that are shipped to any of the states mentioned above, which have magazine capacity restrictions, will have their standard higher capacity magazines automatically exchanged for magazines that comply with state regulations.
